Course Overview:

This course is designed to turn your idea into a successful business. It involves understanding customer development process, learning how to rapidly develop and test ideas. Critical aspects will be examined during the course to identify customer’s pain points, find the right solution, establish a suitable business model & pitch to the investors.

Anyone who has internet connection and willingness to start his/her own business can join the program.

Learning Outcomes:

You will learn the business skills it takes to bring an idea from conception to market, these include:

  • Finding the right customer for your product
  • Gathering, evaluating and using customer feedback to make the product, marketing, and business model stronger
  • Engaging the customers through the three phases of the customer relationship management life-cycle: get, keep, and grow
  • Identifying key resources, partners, activities, and distribution channels required to deliver the product to customers
  • Developing key metrics to manage costs
  • Calculate hidden costs and profit margin to set the right price


This is a 6-week program where participants will apply the concepts and practices of entrepreneurship in their businesses. Session will start from Saturday, August 19, 2017 (08:00 AM – 01:00 PM)

Trainer’s Profile:

Syed Abdul Basit is a Product Marketing expert with a decade experience in designing, developing, managing and scaling innovative technology products, services and ventures. He is the founder of VISIONi (a training division of Appylink 360) that help startups, incubators, business schools, and corporate innovation labs to turn their ideas into commercial viable products by providing a right business model and go-to-market strategy. He has also facilitated INJAZ Pakistan as Lead Trainer to conduct ‘Entrepreneurship Master Class’ and ‘Company Program’ workshops. Previously, he worked with Microsoft Innovation Center Pre-Accelerator 2015 as Program Advisor & Startup Mentor; guided young entrepreneurs and conducted sessions on sales, marketing, financing and elevator pitch.

He was awarded as “Product Champion” for Nokia Life and played a key role in launching three value-added services for Ufone Pakistan, i.e. Background Music & Live Cricket Commentary, Collect Call, and Notify Me. He has also conducted Hackathons with 300 Developers to publish more than 350+ apps for Nokia & Microsoft within a month. Spearheaded more than 35 mobile apps for B2B & B2C market and mentored 50+ startups across Pakistan.
